Enza Zaden at Asia Fruit Logistica 2011

The international team of Enza Zaden is present at the Asia Fruit Logistica for the fourth time and can be found in hall BE stand No: B-24. The fair, which is being held in Hong Kong, runs from 7 to 9 September 2011 inclusive. At the fair there will be more than 300 exhibitors from thirty different countries.

Enza Zaden have already been established in Asia since 1991 and are represented in the most important Asian production areas. During the fair at the Enza Zaden stand Asian top varieties and products will be present in abundance. Special attention will be paid to the Enza Zaden melon varieties. Melon has in the meantime become an important plant within the Enza Zaden organisation. In addition the wide assortment of Taste tomatoes and peppers from the European program will be there as well.

Important pillars within Enza Zaden are the cooperation with the chain and the anticipation of trends and new developments. In anticipating these trends and to recognise them Enza Zaden is in a position as improvement company to develop new innovative vegetable varieties, which offer advantages to the entire chain all the time. The new Easyleaf-lettuce varieties are a good example of this. Visitors will be able to see these varieties during the fair, which offer many advantages for the grower and the processing industry. Enza Zaden also expect, in the coming years, to develop a wide assortment, specifically developed for the processing industry, of new lettuce varieties for the market.
